NextPath is Expanding
The next step in growing my- sorry, OUR impact.
A brief diversion from our usual content to announce an exciting new chapter for NextPath. We’ll be back with more insights, stories, and advice in next week’s column!
As a reminder, NextPath TV is spinning up with videos to help job seekers learn from real life coaching sessions.
NextPath is expanding, and is currently taking applications for the 6th job-seekers cohort program starting in June. If you’re looking for your next opportunity, let’s chat!
There came a time, roughly a year ago, where I realized that in order to expand the impact of my work I would need to make it a full time endeavor. I expected that I would make it a few months before going back to job searching, but to this day I am humbled by the full calendar I wake up to every Monday (no Sunday scaries here!)
As more and more prospective clients reached out, more than I could take on, I started looking around my network to see if there were others coaches I could refer them to. The coaches I met were not only interested in taking these clients, but were eager to learn more about my process. Always excited to share notes, I have built relationships with other coaches that have similar values to NextPath, including “Coach From Experience”, “Embrace a Holistic Approach”, “Be Unpolished”, “Leave Nothing Unsaid”, and “Reflection Is Key” (if you’re interested, I’ll make a post about NextPath’s values in a coming week!)
Today, as a result of growing those relationships, I am excited to announce that NextPath is no longer a solo venture. I’m being joined on this journey by two amazing coaches, Erica Kantor and Adam Safran. As we help our clients grow and achieve their goals, I’m excited for us to also learn from each other.
Erica Kantor
After only a handful of sessions, Erica has already had a huge impact on her clients, one of whom just signed on to a new role, and another who has started kicking ass in their onboarding with her help.
Erica has a unique ability to distill complex concepts around interviewing topics such as system design and technical deep dives into actionable advice. She leverages her experiences at companies such as Chief and Slice to help clients convert their experiences into growth opportunities, and to demonstrate their growth to leadership to help advance their career.
A client of Erica’s can expect a safe space to discuss their fear, stress, and anxiety around their job search or current role, and in return receive practical guidance on how to move forward with confidence.

Adam Safran
Adam brings a unique blend of experience and empathy to NextPath, having built and managed teams for over 30 years. With experience from running his own development shop, building products for Life360, and leading teams at Turo through large-scale migrations, Adam’s coaching approach is based on his advantage of real-time empathy and immediate proximity to the challenges his clients are facing.
What makes Adam’s sessions stand out is his ability to help engineers reframe their experience into compelling narratives. Whether it’s turning a chaotic startup run into a story of resourcefulness, or transforming a list of responsibilities into a resume full of measurable wins, Adam has a sharp instinct for what hiring managers actually want to hear and how to get there without undermining yourself in the process.
A client working with Adam can expect a candid, warm conversation grounded in shared experience. He always seeks to leave clients with a clearer story to tell, sharper answers to tough interview questions, and a stronger sense of how to advocate for themselves from day one in a new role.

On a personal note, this is a moment of reflection for me. As I’m planning on all of the audacious goals I have for NextPath, I’m always looking in the rearview mirror to keep my progress in mind. I’ll be coming back to this to share more about my motivations, goals, and the challenges I’ve faced while building and growing NextPath, in case it’s helpful to anyone who is on their own journey to build something that is their own.
As always, thank you to everyone who is joining me on this journey.
